About the Speaker

Kris Woyzbun is a Canadian tech founder, product designer, and UX design leader based in Palo Alto, CA. Currently building Gumption, an AI-first design platform for everyday people to confidently design and plan their renovation. Having held leadership roles at Google, SSENSE, EDITR, and IDEO, and with recognition from IDSA Awards, Kris’s work focuses on leading multidisciplinary teams in UX Design, building tech startups, and designing human-centered brands from scratch. She holds engineering degrees from Dalhousie University and Stanford University and continues to lecture at the Stanford d.school.

What is the cancellation policy, in case something comes up and I cannot attend anymore?

While the time is going to fly by fast, we do understand it’s tough to estimate your workload, schedule, and life in advance.
You can get a 100% refund if you cancel up to a month before the summit. You can also request a 50% refund up to two weeks before the summit.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

We’re working on getting some preferred rates for hotels close to the summit venue. We’ll keep you posted.

What does the summit price include?

Your ticket includes the access to the conference, an invite to the summit app and slack group. You’ll also get access to the DLS official party, some way cool swag, and all the fun activities we have planned at the event.

I need a visa in order to come to Canada for the Design Leadership Summit. Can you help with this?

Yes, we can write you a letter of recommendation for you to apply for a visa. Email support@designx.community your name, business address, and ticket order number. Please check with your local government office for any visas waiting periods
