Designing a more intimate conference community experience!
Though covid mandates have been long gone, our appreciation for more intimate, close-knit community experiences has only increased. That’s why we’re kicking things off with a much more intimate community experience, curating these two days focused on your design team size and the leadership challenges you’re solving for.
TUESDAY, DECEMBER 6
Interactive programming from roundtables to workshops aimed at connecting UX + Design Leaders with their peers in orgs. and teams of relevant scale and challenges.
Design Leadership Summit was packed with incredible, relevant and thought-provoking content for those practising leadership at any level. From our newest to most-seasoned leaders, we came away with ideas, strategies and conversations that have since shaped how we lead our teams and projects.

Toronto’s renewed and reimagined premiere event space located centrally in beautiful Yorkville. Their 700-person concert hall and supporting spaces, turning 100 years old this year, guarantee your experience here will be unforgettable and one of a kind. Radiating with character and history, having hosted thousands of musical events across the last century, there’s a story and an experience around every corner.
Love these notes Andrea Ong sketched for the community at @WeAreDesignX's #designleadershipsummit. Turns out you can cover a lot in one itty bitty panel. #dls2019 pic.twitter.com/VoYMEVWt4p

I do not manage or lead a team. Can I attend the Design Leadership Summit?
Though the content and programming of the summit is focused exclusively on folks currently managing and leading design and/or product teams, we will soon release some tickets for emerging leaders.
What is the cancellation policy, in case something comes up and I cannot attend anymore?
You can get a 100% refund if you cancel up to a month before the summit. You can also request a 50% refund up to two weeks before the summit.
Do you have any hotel recommendations?
We’re working on getting some preferred rates for hotels close to the summit venue. We’ll keep you posted.
What does the summit price include?
Your ticket includes the access to the conference, an invite to the summit app and slack group. You’ll also get access to the DLS official party, some way cool swag, and all the fun activities we have planned at the event.
How long should I stay in Toronto?
Our official programming covers two days: Dec. 6 & 7, 2022. We recommend coming to Toronto, by Dec 5th, so you do not miss on any part of our 2 day summit and the after party. If it’s your first time in the city, we recommend staying over the weekend, and explore Toronto with other design leaders attending the summit.
I need a visa in order to come to Canada for the Design Leadership Summit. Can you help with this?
Yes, we can write you a letter of recommendation for you to apply for a visa. Email firstname.lastname@example.org your name, business address, and ticket order number. Please check with your local government office for any visas waiting periods.
I'd love to get more information about the summit. How can I do that?
You can sign up for our email list and be the first to know about tickets sales, agendas, and other Design Leadership Summit previews.
