Underrepresented Leaders

Goes without saying, we’re here to support underrepresented and/or marginalized groups in design. This includes, but is not limited to: women, LGBTQ, people of colour, people with disabilities, and those over the age of 65 – who are in leadership and managerial roles and are interested in attending the summit.

On Parental Leave

While we can’t help you with the new (or lack of) sleep cycles, we can help bridge the financial concerns that attending a conference while on parental leave can bring. Let us cover the ticket for you, while you figure out child care!

FAQs

What is the cancellation policy, in case something comes up and I cannot attend anymore?

While the time is going to fly by fast, we do understand it’s tough to estimate your workload, schedule, and life in advance.
You can get a 100% refund if you cancel up to a month before the summit. You can also request a 50% refund up to two weeks before the summit.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

We’re working on getting some preferred rates for hotels close to the summit venue. We’ll keep you posted.

What does the summit price include?

Your ticket includes the access to the conference, an invite to the summit app and slack group. You’ll also get access to the DLS official party, some way cool swag, and all the fun activities we have planned at the event.

I need a visa in order to come to Canada for the Design Leadership Summit. Can you help with this?

Yes, we can write you a letter of recommendation for you to apply for a visa. Email support@designx.community your name, business address, and ticket order number. Please check with your local government office for any visas waiting periods
