Volunteer with Us

As they say, it takes a village to raise a design community (or something like that) so we’re excited that you’re interested in volunteering your time.

Our 4 Verticals

Our team members usually end up (on average) spending around 4 hours a week helping out – There are monthly team meetings for the entire DesignX team, and biweekly check-ins within your specific vertical. If all this sounds a bit too intimidating or not of much interest, please do share!

Content

This is the team responsible for any special content pieces that DesignX wants to put out (i.e. conference lists, interviews etc)

Marketing

This is the vertical that is responsible for our social media and the awesome newsletter that goes out weekly.

Operations

This is THE team that helps run the events. From finding food and venue partners to automating all our processes.

Community Strategy

This team is responsible for understanding the needs of our community from learning events to surveys etc.

FAQs

What is the cancellation policy, in case something comes up and I cannot attend anymore?

While the time is going to fly by fast, we do understand it’s tough to estimate your workload, schedule, and life in advance.
You can get a 100% refund if you cancel up to a month before the summit. You can also request a 50% refund up to two weeks before the summit.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

We’re working on getting some preferred rates for hotels close to the summit venue. We’ll keep you posted.

What does the summit price include?

Your ticket includes the access to the conference, an invite to the summit app and slack group. You’ll also get access to the DLS official party, some way cool swag, and all the fun activities we have planned at the event.

I need a visa in order to come to Canada for the Design Leadership Summit. Can you help with this?

Yes, we can write you a letter of recommendation for you to apply for a visa. Email support@designx.community your name, business address, and ticket order number. Please check with your local government office for any visas waiting periods
